Dear CELAC Students:
 

Welcome to the Center for English Language and American Culture! Studying English at CELAC will lead the way for students to continue into a degree program at the University of New Mexico and later enhance professional careers back home or abroad as English continues to be a major world language. CELAC is committed to supporting students each step of the way! We offer challenging and engaging classes as well as many outside activities and cultural excursions.

When students are not busy in class, I encourage them to join activities around the UNM campus, either in person or virtually. These additional opportunities give students a chance to practice English in an authentic setting. Find something of interest to you and take a chance!
