Airport Pick-up and Temporary Housing

International Students, Inc. (ISI)

  • A non-UNM, community Christian volunteer organization called ISI (International Students, Inc.) offers free airport pick-up and a temporary home-stay with a local family for up to 3 days

  • If you are interested, you must contact them at least 2 weeks in advance.

  • ISI is a Christian Organization, but there is no obligation to participate in any religious activities.

  • If you are interested in airport pick-up or the home-stay opportunity offered by ISI please contact them at: ISIABQ@isionline.org

  • Airport pick-up and home-stays for students arriving will begin two weeks before the classes start.

Hotel Options

  • You can choose to stay in a local hotel until you can move into permanent housing

  • Be sure to ask if they have a UNM student discount

 

Housing for the Semester or Year

  • All regular CELAC students must arrange their own housing

  • Students can choose to live on or off campus depending on their preference

  • Learn about on campus options at the UNM Housing website: https://housing.unm.edu/

  • F-1 visa students should consider the length of their program before signing any housing contracts or leases

  • If you will only stay for one semester, confirm the dates of the contract before signing any documents

*To register for on campus housing, you must create your UNM Net ID first.
